How do you stop an ex from interfering in our marriage?

My spouses ex knows how to push buttons. My spouse will speak to me about the problems and when I agree or give my opinion, that's when my spouse thinks I am bias. Somehow the ex involves the child which makes the problem more complex. This is not good for our marriage. How do you stop an ex from interfering in our marriage?
Forget the ex, do what you know is best unless there is a court order that says otherwise. I used to be a kid in a custody fight, I know; Do what is best for the kids, they will love you for it when they get older.

If you are both Catholic and belong to a Catholic church..then you can have a catholic ceremony, and yes it willl be recognized by the church.

Sorta like renewing your vowes..only with a lot more rules.
I believe you'd have to have a marriage ceremony performed by a Catholic priest for it to be recognized by the Catholic Church.
Yes, it's called ';convalidation.'; Consult your priest.
Yes you can go see your Pastor
have a renewal wedding in the church.
Sure! Just talk to your priest. As long as one of you is Catholic, then there is no problem.
Good luck with that.

Where can I research the global perspective on same sex marriage?

I am doing a speech on the global perspective on SSM and Im having a really hard time finding anything to talk about, or reliable sources. Any statistic reliable statistic sites?Where can I research the global perspective on same sex marriage?
Might I suggest that while you're on the subject, you might postulate as to why gays and heterosexuals should be allowed to marry while all the other orientations are denied?

Shouldn't bisexuals be allowed to have pluralistic marriages?

Why are close relatives, such as consenting adult gay and heterosexual siblings, consenting adult gay or heterosexual parent %26amp; offspring not allowed to marry? They are also considered a sexual orientation, and with current reproduction technology, there are no medical reasons to deny them.

What about those who are sexually attracted to animals? That's also a recognized orientation.

Finally, there's the most controversial sexual orientation, which is illegal to be, or even think about being. In many ways, it can be said that they are they reason why research needs to be done to determine how to correct genetic abnormalities that result in in sexual orientations that is not acceptable to the majority of NORMAL society.

Perhaps if the cause of alternate sexual orientations can be found, these individuals can be treated and cured in utero through DNA manipulation, or aborted so that they never come to exist.

This alternate sexual orientation was establish in the summer of 2000 in the exact same same that homosexuality was establish as an alternate sexual orientation in 1974.

  • Can you get military benefits with a Certified Copy of Marriage Register?

We were married in Jamaica this past week and received a document: Certified Copy of Marriage Register. Our official Marriage Certificate will come via snail mail in a few months. My husband is in the US Marines and we are not sure if I can get my military ID (begin receiving health benefits, etc.) with this document.

We will call base in the am but in the mean time just wondering if anyone knows?

Thanks in advance. Can you get military benefits with a Certified Copy of Marriage Register?
You will have to either contact his command to find out or you could call DEERS and find out. DEERS is who you have to enroll with as a dependent.

I believe you can get the same benefits as your husband and yes you can get an ID but you definitely need the marriage certificate to get anything.

Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?

they always have the option for a divorce....why this sacred union is no more sacred to today's youth .Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?
That is such a generalisation. I think it is rather unfair of you to state it actually. I am currently going through divorce, when I got married, I did not believe in divorce, and to this very day I still don't want a divorce. My husband however does, and I can not force him to stay married to me. Some people, both young and older just don't see marriage as special these days, I believe the court system makes it too easy for couples to get divorced, I believe all couples should have to undergo marriage counselling before applying for a divorce (of course that is dependant on the circumstances of that marriage).

Divorce is painful, I would not wish this upon anyone. So perhaps a re-phrase of your question is in order. Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?
It's all because the age-old attitude to marriage has changed. It's sanctity has, to a great extent ,evaporated. It's now more like a co-habitation than a made-for-each other kind of eternal bond, only to be dissolved by death. So far as options are concerned, it has definitely grown bigger and bigger. It's not entirely bad. It has provided greater freedom and personal space between relationships. Today's youth is more open to change and readily goes for experiments. They are also weighing the profit %26amp; loss meticulously and don't attach moral-immoral values to a great extent.
Nowadays dating is very popular before marriage, most of the youth before marriage itself they spent together frequently...Very often dating, eats away the charm, while entering into their marriage life, they become bored. They are not interestingly live together... and moreover their earning makes them self reliant鈥?they need not bother and also expect anything from their partners about their future requirements鈥?If someone interfere others personal activities they don鈥檛 tolerate or bear it鈥?At that stage their ego overtakes and they suddenly take a hasty decision (Divorce).
i've seen many couples, who think of cutting off with each other so easily....option of divorce is just like a small thing for them....the sacred bound of love, i.e. marriage, is no longer sacred....infact, i feel bad about the ppl who just take divorce for granted....no doubt, divorce is the only option left for some cases but it should not be made as a first option in the relations which are not working good.....
Some may find Will Smith's philosophy on marriage a little lackluster in the romance department but in a country where divorce rates are skyrocketing at the same speed as gas prices, I can't help but wonder if he and Jada may have a good thing going on.
Because the trust levels %26amp; the desire to work on a relationship has gone down. selfishness %26amp; ego centric behaviour has risen. No one wants to tolerate anymore %26amp; everyone wants a honeymoon to go on forever.
Because they don't love each other. The reason behind their marriage is only physical demand not the mental demand.
Because they grew up in or with a friend who lived in dysfunctional home and /not/ want that to happen to them.

after all it's the richest gift god has provided to all livings.
Because first impressions arent always real impressions. Especially in an arranged marriage setting, u put ur best foot fwd. It's speed dating. Then u marry n live life. Life has it's ups n downs, n many couples dont adequately talk about how they'll handle the downs. Then it's not tolerated...by the other. Plus, many who live in joint families have in-law interference, and then the spouse chooses the parent, over their sig other. Blood wins over water, n there's a split. Many of today's youth see many reasons couples shouldnt've been married in the first place, n many other situations where it seems ppl were going through motions, so they want a safety net...it's just a precaution so they, nor their future kids will suffer.
