Did you know that New York passed a gay marriage bill?

Isn't it great? All we have to do now is wait for the bill to pass, which it will! Aren't you all excited? 2 other states have pending gay marriage bills. When all these bills pass (which they will) there would be a total of 8 states legalizing same-sex marriage! WOO-HOOOOO!Did you know that New York passed a gay marriage bill?
Yeah, all states should, the only reason they have not to is because of religious beliefs...sooo they would all be violating the separation between church and state.Did you know that New York passed a gay marriage bill?

I said all along I think this is a states right issue and states can pass whatever laws they want regarding gay marriage.





My only issue was with the courts using very sketchy legal arguments to overturn the will of the people or legislature to force gay marriage onto a state.


This doesnt seem to be the case if its the legislature passing it.

Seriously, I'm SO happy for the rise of gay marriage! ^^ Now my best friend will have the rights that he should. This country's FINALLY starting to be what it's always claimed to be.
