I found my own ';foreigner'; and to be honest I'm sure most British women are capable of doing the same. Most websites set up to introduce people from Western countries to foreigners are aimed at men who want a younger, prettier woman than they can get at home. The women who they marry are generally from poor countries and are willing to sacrifice their own marital happiness for the sake of their families financial security. I can't think many British women would be wiling to want a dependent husband from another country. The men who might be interested in such a service are unlikely to be able to pay for it.


There used to be a company called ';English Rose'; which specialised in finding English/British wives for foreign, mostly American, men. I don't think they exist any more as it's so easy to use other online dating services and search for what you want.Would a marriage bureau set up to introduce Uk ladies to foreigners be a success?
