Is a marriage license proof of paternity if the parents were not married at the time of childs birth?

My brother had a child with his wife before they were married. He signed the voluntary aknowledgment of paternity at the time the child was born. They got married 3 months later.

Is the marriage license proof of paternity?

Im asking because he is trying to get child support since they are splitting up and he is taking custody of the child. He needs proof of paternity. Does the marriage license show proof of paternity? Is a marriage license proof of paternity if the parents were not married at the time of childs birth?
I have read some stupid questions in my day, but this one takes the cake. The fact that they weren't married at the time of the birth should be an obvious answer to this, let alone the fact that there are thousands of married couples who have children from other relationships, but since the obvious isn't playing into your thought processes, no, a marriage certificate does not prove paternity. It only proves a marriage existed. Is a marriage license proof of paternity if the parents were not married at the time of childs birth?
did they go to registry office for births with marriage cert after they got married to change the status on the birth certs of children? this gives him legal rights to children as they married so they get joint rights and proof would be both marriage cert and birth cert, like someone has just said whether married or not if they want proof that he is the dad this would be a dna test.
No that's only proof a an existing marriage -

You need a DNA test for absolute proof - but he signed a voluntary aknowledgment of paternity so that in and of itself might be enough for the courts to order support for that child
Signing the acnowlegement of paternity, he IS the father and needs to pay up.
No, all a marriage license is proof of is marriage. Proof of paternity is a DNA test.
The birth certificate is plenty proof for most courts. If he wants indisputable proof them he needs to pay for a DNA test.
No, a marriage license does not prove anything. There needs to be a DNA test for proof.
A marriage license has nothing to do with a birth certificate. If he needs to prove paternity - he can get a DNA test.
