How do mormons feel about masturbation AFTER marriage?

I mean hopefully you won't need it, but I was just curious as to the doctrinal views on the subject. I am mormon and do not plan on masturbation; I was just wondering out of pure curiosity if it's allowed. How do mormons feel about masturbation AFTER marriage?
THEY dont run the world and God never said it is sinning...so discuss with your spouse as this is a family board. How do mormons feel about masturbation AFTER marriage?
Nope. Sexual activity should be only between a man and his wife...not between a man and himself. Sex can be a wonderful way to draw closer to husband or wife, but masturbation excludes the spouse. Besides, people don't just randomly masturbate. They have to have something to arouse them, and it's usually safe to assume it's not thoughts of their husband or wife. And if that's the case, it's still falling outside the boundaries God placed on marriage and sex.
Ex-mormon and I believe they would consider it incorrect, and they would justify it as because you are coveting something other than your own wife when doing it. But if all you thought about was your own wife while doing it then technically it wouldn't be a sin. but this is up for religious theologists to discuss because if you ask me the fact that the church oppresses safe sexual techniques and makes you feel guilty for doing something healthy and natural is the problem.
Masturbation is wrong either before or after marriage. We do not need to stimulate our passions outside of the marital relationship. We need to bridle our passions not to indulge them.
Why not ask a member of your church? Why ask here. Curiosity is always allowed but maybe not appropriate.
both partners should fulfill each others sexual desires so each spouce is not left burning with passion or tempted to self-gratify themself as outlined in 1 cor. 7: 3-5
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

you dont plan on masterbating eh?

what does your religion have to say about LYING!
masturbation is masturbation
Not sure, but if the spouse liked watching the other masturbate then I suppose it is fine.
That's when you know it's time to add another wife.
I think it's still a no no. Sexual things have their place and purpose which God intended and that isn't one of them.
its wrong.
I think if I was a Mormon I would have a wife for every day in the week and if I still needed to rub the rod I would marry an eighth wife to take up the slack.

  1. These are all good IDEAS about masturbation after getting married. However, they do not get right to the point of what Mormon doctrine says about it. I can only go a LITTLE farther, and I may be wrong. My bishops always asked me if I masturbated, before marriage. When I said yes, it meant a little probation period before I could advance in the priesthood. One bishop spoke in church one day and told us that pornography is not a sin, but what it leads to most definitely is a sin, so we should avoid it completely. Now, I get closer to the point. I read a book from the Church about sex between married partners. One of the questions was about variety of sexual activities. The answer was clear, but did not give many details. It said that married couples are free to enjoy their sexuality together in any way that they think would be pleasing to God. It stayed just short of telling them to follow the Spirit, I think. Even without a requirement for prayer before each coitus, I knew then that masturbation was out unless I got a really liberal spouse, like a nurse, maybe. I have never been interviewed after getting married, so I do not know if they ask about masturbation. My suspicion is that it is never mentioned again after you get married.
