In the state of Alaska who can legally perform a marriage?

My Fiance and I want a friend of our to marry us... Dose any one know how we would go about finding out how that would work? A website or even a phone number would really help.In the state of Alaska who can legally perform a marriage?
My husband and I had a friend marry us in Talkeetna in 2000.





Under Alaska law anyone can perform your marriage ceremony as long as they are appointed as marriage commissioner from an Alaskan court. To become a marriage commissioner you should be 18 years of age and you do not need to be a resident of Alaska or the United States in order to perform the ceremony.


The court nearest to were the wedding will be performed is the one you need to contact.
