She put herself out there. While her comments on gay marriage may have sparked an interest in people digging deeper, her comments are not the reason she'll lose the crown if she does. If her position on gay marriage was the only strike against her, she wouldn't lose the title. She made a conscious decision to pose semi-nude for photographs and that decision is now coming back to haunt her. She won't be the first pageant queen to experience the same type of scandal. Does Vanessa Williams ring a bell? She was pretty much forced to surrender the Miss America title for the same reason. Miss California isn't the first and probably won't be the last.
