Why are people who are for gay marriage threatening people who oppose it?

Latest example of ';Black'; Christian Minister in San Fran getting threatened and his family and kids getting threatened. And Miss California getting stripped from her title because of her beliefs....Where is the tolerance at liberals? WHERE IS YOUR SO CALLED TOLERANCE YOU WANT US ALL TO HAVE? Hypocrites much?Why are people who are for gay marriage threatening people who oppose it?
They only want us to be tolerant of anything and everything they want. We are supposed to sit back and allow educational money to go for teaching our young children about homosexuality. What if we don't want that? Doesn't matter, that is what they want and they get all the rights. Just ask the ACLU.Why are people who are for gay marriage threatening people who oppose it?
For gay people this is no different than was the black civil rights mvement of the 1960's. I haven't heard about the black Ministers family being threatened in San Francisco. Miss California was hardly representative of California and she wasn't striped of her title for her answer about gay marriage. She was in breech of her contract.





There are radicals in every group of people, including gays that will go to exremes, but the majority of gay people, even though they think this is grossly unfair, won't resort to violence.





What I do remember being a teenager in the 1960's and living in a big city at the time, Chicago, are the riots, death and destruction cased by blacks for the same reason. They were being denied civil rights and were angry as hell as they should have been. They burnt down their own neighborhoods, looted stores of everything they had and a white person wouldn't have dared go into those neighborhoods when these riots were happening. My father who worked in a black neighborhood in Chicago when one of the riots broke out, barely got out alive. His car was plummeted with bricks, glass and whatever else was handy and his car looked like it had been in a war zone.





You won't see gays doing anything close to that. It took 40+ years for blacks to get what they wanted. It won't take nearly that long for gays. They're almost there.





It is the conservative right wing movement who are so threatened by this for whatever their reason and you talk about where is the tolerance and call liberals hypocrites. Look in the mirror and ask where is your tolerance and ask yourself who the hypocrites are?
Miss California got fired because she did not fulfill her contractual obligations and was replaced with someone who had the same beliefs regarding marriage as her.





As far as the threats, I can't condone them but some people get really fired up when they feel that their rights have been taken away. But I'm sure it's only liberals who get angry and make threats when they feel their rights are being stripped from them. A conservative would never do something like that.
The argument for gay marriage is based on two thing:





They were born that way and that its natural because even some animals display homosexual behavior.





My question is this? What separates homosapiens (humans) from the rest of the animal kingdom? Our brains.





There are species of animals that will eat their young as well. But, we don't and no one would accept it as proper behavior. Why do we have to accept homosexual behavior as normal? I can tolerate it. But I do not have to agree that it is NORMAL.
It doesn't bother me either way honestly. We have somehow became a nation that is overly politically correct. Anything and everything is ';offensive'; to one group or the other its simply ridiculous. If anyone was to publicly criticize a same sex marriage promoter it would be all over the news.What have things come to?
Liberal values. See Bill Ayers and his university professor wife, both of whom are advisors and friends of Obama, who thought that the best way to get their liberal views across was to build bombs and kill police officers and soldiers. Its just a matter of time before they start firebombing churches and residences out there just like their terrorist friends in the ALF/ELF.
It amazes me that a person can't have an opinion and be treated well anymore in this country. Shame.


I feel for Miss California who only spoke her own beliefs in a pleasant and professional way. She has been wronged.


There is no tolerance in the US anymore.
Mark my word, the queers have only just begun! They aren't going to stop until they get their way! I used to like House until I seen two tit suckers kissing at the end of the show last weekend! Tolerance is not a two way street for those ppl.





In fact, ';tolerance'; is not what they want. To ';dominate'; the social consciousness seems to be the goal.

Tolerance, 1st Amendment,etc are OK ONLY if you believe the same as a liberal.....
