When are the dictionaries going to re-define sex and marriage?

Most dictionaries say sex is (when a penis enters a vagina).

And many dictionaries say marriage is (between a man and a woman).

Should heterosexuals look at sex and marriage the same as homosexuals? When are the dictionaries going to re-define sex and marriage?
Marriage in probably 95% (or even more) of the world is between a man and woman. That's why the definition is what it is.When are the dictionaries going to re-define sex and marriage?
Maybe there are different entries for sex. Maybe there's an entry for oral sex and anal sex. Just a thought, although it's probably not true. In addition, I think the definition for marriage should change, as there are lesbian and gay married couples who got married in California and *I think* Massachusetts. Thus, the definition should change. It'll probably cost too much money to change all the definitions in the millions of dictionaries in the US.
Yes. If/when polygamy becomes legal in America, the dictionary should change too (between a man and women or between a woman and men). Marriage unites humans to live with each other together legally. It's not really as ';important'; or ';lovely'; or ';sacred'; as we are making it. Everyone should have the right to get married. It certainly doesn't guarantee happiness. For many people marriage is sorrow and agony. Look at my parents.

Sex is sex. That one shouldn't change. Heterosexuals and homosexuals are different and we need to embrace and accept that.
When all of the US allows gay marriage then sure, they should change the dictionary. The dictionary gives a general definition, not specialized for each area.

In Chicago it is forbidden to fish while sitting on a giraffe’s neck and in the Pullman area, it is illegal to drink beer out of a bucket while sitting on the curb.

Should the dictionary make exceptions for those laws? When you look up giraffe is there a side note about not fishing from its neck in Chicago?

Give it time. Gay marriage is not wide spread in the US yet, I am sure in a future version of the dictionary the wording will change.

Edit: I just asked my friend who is gay and he says the dictionary does not upset him and the definitions do not confuse him. He knows how to have sex and is not offended by Merriam-Webster.
I like the definitions the way they are. And it should stay that way.

People don't have to go by what it says in the dictionary, you know...
When those definitions become truth.

And in my opinion, they wont.
