He could by some flowers from a grocery store and small boxes from Hobby Lobby or a craft store like Michael's. He could write each year they've been together on each box and write a short sentimental note to put inside the box For example.: 2006-We met at Lisa's Diner , began dating 2 months later ,2007- We graduated college, and met each other's families for the first time, 2008-First Apartment, 2009- I asked you to be my wife. Then close all the boxes put on the floor in a path way when she opens the door to your house/apartment, and light candles and have the flowers be a aisle with the boxes in the middle, and when she opens the last one 2009, he should then propose and her with present with the ring.

hmmm it all depends. is the hopeful bride to be fun loving (disneyland or another amusement park, maybe on a roller coaster that'd be thrilling) romantic (canoe rowing, sight seeing, normal dinner date [boring if you ask me], on some paradise island) weird in a good way (art show, flea shop). or he could slip it in a note, write a poem, write it in the sky (tho that's not cheap) slip it into a rc boat lol, or train the dog to give it to her with its mouth.

My fiance was going to propose to me when we were alone at this bonfire he was having for his birthday and it was 100% perfect. We were all snuggled up and everything and talking about the future and everyone else had gone in for food- but he had forgotten the ring =/. Anyway, it would have been perfect.
