Before they converted? If you are a Christian, would you give up Jesus to become another religion, lets say Jew, just for the sake of marriage?Do Christians that convert to Judaism because of marriage really had Jesus living in them?
If one would give up Jesus, for any reason, then they were probably not born again, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior of their life.
I would rather die than give up my Lord and Savior Jesus, for there is life in no one else.
John 3:16-18Do Christians that convert to Judaism because of marriage really had Jesus living in them?
No way! If you really believe in Jesus Christ, you can't deny your beliefs to convert to another religion. Furthermore, the Bible says, we should not be 'unequally yoked.' That means, we should not marry unbelievers (or someone who does not have the same beliefs we do). Our relationship with God through Jesus will suffer for it, and our marriage will suffer for it, because that person that we marry will never truly be able to share in our faith the way we do. Of course, if we are already married, the Bible says it is OK to stay married to that person, just not to enter into a new marriage if we aren't already. That passage is in one of Paul's letters, I think.
Just to correct what another person wrongly stated: no, there is NO Jewish group that worships Jesus or believes him the 'son of god', because that belief = blasphemy for any Jews.
Anyone who believes that is a Christian.
To the asker: Rabbis won't accept someone for conversion to Judaism IF the person is only doing it because they are marrying someone Jewish.
answer: The majority of rabbis won't convert someone merely for the sake of marriage. One should not even attempt conversion to Judaism if they ';believe'; in Jesus/Yeshua on any level because those beliefs are blasphemous in Judaism. That is one reason why ';messianic'; conversions are done by ministers, not rabbis - those are Christians, not Jews.
No, Jesus warns us of being unequally yoked. And this leads to divorce and a bad marriage eventually. My cousin is going through this now. His wife is Christian and he is not. They are growing apart and once their child leaves the house they plan on divorcing.
Jesus and God know who is the right one for us, the one we can grow closer to instead of away from. So go follow them and ask for this and leading and understanding as well.
Ask not, receive not it says in the bible. So let us ask for leading and knowledge from God and get the life he has for us. Put God first and all these other things will be added.
take care.
Not at all. Jesus himself said that those that leave him never belonged to him. Then again, there are those people who claim they are Christian but have not really meditated on what that means. To them, its just a name not a belief. The ones that only called themselves Christian but dont understand what that means I dont think turned their back on Jesus because they never understood Who He is. They are just lost. But if you know fully well who Jesus is, and decide its better for your life for fleshly pleasure over Him and convert then that is an insult. It's one thing to know Jesus, and accept him but still sin, as we ALL sin. But its another to convert to a different belief, essentially turning your back from God's sacred words to a false teaching.
There is a section of Jewish that obeys the Bible better than most other christian religions and believes Jesus is the son of God too. Begins with a ';M';. So they are probably not becoming non believers, just more obeying.
The preacher says this to little ones. Let me put Jesus in you.
Sounds like possession.
I converted from a born again. This video has some good reasons why I ran like the wind away and kicked him out:

According to Jews, then yes.
According to Christians, no.
Which one is right you might ask? You are both wrong, because Jesus has been dead for 2000 years...
I'm pretty sure Rabbis don't accept non serious converts!
Did he/she have that delusion? I think they must have. But Jesus does not live inside anyone. And the thought of that is VERY CREEPY
Jesus is long dead, and dead people don't live inside of you.
No I wouldn't...
Christ never knew them
What, like on that movie Aliens, where he'd come tearing out of your chest? Ewww...
no..
Yes, our choices we make are of a free-will, God lets us learn the hard way.
never understood that cause jews dont believe in Jesus, in fact they hate him, you know how garlic scares vampires, well the cross scares jews!
