What part does God play in relationship and marriage?

God is tha creator of mankind and has planned for the life of each person. He should be consulted through prayer before decisions are made. What do you think?What part does God play in relationship and marriage?
GOD plays a big part in everyone lives.i feel that both persons in the marriage should have faith and go to church together and that faith will help keep that marriage Strong as they say a family that prays together stays together.What part does God play in relationship and marriage?
God does not play a part in relationships or marriage. God is not the creator of mankind and he has NOT planned for the life of each person. He should not be consulted through prayer before decisions are made... THAT IS WHAT I THINK!!!





A higher being created the world and we evolved from primordial sludge to get here. I believe in ';god'; I just don't call it god, because that is when people die. More people have been murdered in the name of god than any other disaster.





Not everyone believes in god, not everyone believes in the same god, but you'll judge anyway, because you think everyone who doesn't is going to hell. WELL, YOU CAN'T CONDEMN PEOPLE TO A PLACE THAT DOESN'T EXIST!! You have no right to judge anyone...
philosophically so to speak, God has nothing to do in mankind decisions. there are plenty of married couples who are divorced even if the other party had prayed a lot to God and asked His guidance. as long as the other one is no longer into that marriage consent, he/she can eventually disappear at anything s/he likes.


*my BF before do always go to church and bringing always in his wallet the image of Jesus Christ and a rosary. i thought he is that good enough and God abiding citizen, but had fallen in love with a woman who has a family and they just eloped recently. so basing on that situation, where's the God guidance to both of them eloping?
God should be the foundation of our individual lives as well as the foundation of a good marriage. i believe we should prayerfully seek God's will in our lives daily. He gives us choices and paths everyday, and some are better than others, if we prayerfully follow Him, can you imagine the wonderful life we could live?!?!
God is the creator of mankind but you are wrong in thinking that he has planned our lives for us.


He gave us the capacity to think for ourselves. He will guide you and wants nothing more than for us to be happy.


Pray for what you want, no matter how big or small. If it is truly what you want He will give it to you. Remember though, that He knows our hearts better than we do sometimes and that the real answer to your prayer may be in NOT getting what you prayed for.


Having said all that, I personally do pray before making decisions. I say my prayer, have faith and wait to see what doors open. When I'm walking into walls, I know I'm not on the right path.


People think that life is a struggle but when you have faith, it's a cake walk! Let go and let God.
Many things have turned out wrong in someone's life simply because they DIDN'T put God first. People want things NOW! They are not willing to wait for His answer. I went through alot of heartache, thinking I could handle everything on my own. God plays a big part in EVERYONE'S decisions. If you make the wrong one, He'll still see you through.
Barasa, God is the head of the marriage where both the man and woman seek to be like him. Treat each other the way God treats us with mercy, grace and kindness. Yes, you should tell Him what your intentions are and He will let you know if there are right or wrong.
God watches the couples whom wait (often many years) to marry to have sex. then god laughs *they fell for it!*..

God is a very big part of our marriage, I don't know that we need to pray every time we want to do something but we do pray.
Given the high number or divorces I think it is safe to conclude that either God doesn't exist, or God exists but plays no part at all.
Whatever makes you happy. If you feel prayer helps you and your marriage go for it.
He created marriage, and therefore he plays a giagantic part in it, if You follow his word.
